Community Guidelines
Last updated 13 October 2026
Hobin is for finding real kakis for sports, games and hanging out. These guidelines keep it welcoming, safe and genuine for everyone. Breaking them can get your posts removed or your account suspended.
Be real
- Use your own name (or a genuine nickname) and your own photos.
- One account per person. No impersonating others or businesses.
- Post sessions you actually intend to show up for.
Be respectful
- Treat every kaki with courtesy, on the app and in person.
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
- No unwanted romantic or sexual advances. This is a meetup app, not a dating app.
- Respect a “no”. If someone declines or leaves, let it go.
Keep it safe
- Meet in public places, especially the first time.
- Don’t pressure anyone to share their exact location, contact details, or personal information.
- No activities that are illegal or put people at risk.
- If money is involved (court fees, stakes, shared costs), be upfront about it in the post.
Post honestly
- Give accurate activity, time, place, and cost details.
- Don’t use the app for advertising, spam, selling, recruiting, or promotions.
- Choose the right join setting — open room or approval — and honour it.
Protect minors
You must be 18 or older to use Hobin. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
Reporting
If someone breaks these guidelines, report them from their profile or the session, or contact us through Help & Support. We review reports and take action, which may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension.
These guidelines may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
